Rodgers confirms massive squad boost ahead of Burnley trip
Leicester City boss Brendan Rodgers will be thankful for a bit of reprieve in the days and weeks ahead as the Foxes look set to receive a massive boost to the squad at the King Power Stadium.
As cited by injury analyst Ben Dinnery, Rodgers is expecting up to five players to come back into the fold after the thin nature of the Leicester squad was ruthlessly exposed this season through a combination of factors;
“Patson Daka, Luke Thomas, Caglar Soyuncu, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, and James Justin, which is great news, maybe not to start, but he’s back into the squad again.”

The eventual return of James Justin is a particular treat for Leicester fans after the standout England U21 right-back missed the second half of last season as well as the current campaign in its entirety thanks to a cruciate ligament injury.
Leicester boss positive on Justin progress
“He came through very well, it was about getting that first appearance in. He felt good in the game, he‘s looked very strong in training. He should be available for the squad and we’ll look at him again tomorrow. To have him back is a huge plus for us.” Note: quote via the official Leicester City twitter account
Any news is good news right now for Leicester City headmaster Brendan Rodgers as the Foxes currently sit well below the pre-season targets that they achieved over the last two seasons when finishing fifth and just outside of forcing their way into the top four.
Currently sitting 11th in the Premier League and ten points off the same place they ended both 2020-21 and 2019-20, the Foxes have it all to do but come into the current period having won two of their last three.

The expected boost to the first team will go a considerable way in arresting the fitness concerns that have plagued all season long, and that alone may be enough fuel into the engine room to reignite a charge up the table as they clash with Burnley at Turf Moor on Saturday.
